Rise Up Academy was started to provide a healthy and stimulating environment for children ages 2 1/2 through 12. An atmosphere flourishing with love and positive reinforcements is built into the fabric of the school.
Through innovation and collaboration within the adaptive community, USAGA members have been able to adapt golf for everyone. This is regardless of current health, physical, mental, sensory, coping, and wellbeing status.
The Randall Morris Foundation for Youth and Families has raised over $900,000 to help those in need since its founding. They’re committed to helping those in need with a focus on the needs of families, women, and children.
After playing college football for the University of Florida, Alonzo Mitz was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the eighth round of the 1986 NFL Draft, and played for the Seahawks from 1986 to 1989. He played the last two seasons of his NFL career for the Cincinnati Bengals in 1990 and 1991. During his six-season NFL career, he played in seventy-one games, started thirty-four of them, and compiled eight quarterback sacks and two interceptions.
Today, Alonzo spends his time playing golf and supporting organizations that work with at-risk youth in the Puget Sound area. Alonzo is a man who is making a difference.
